Omschrijving:
Imagine soft jungle sounds, the sound of crickets, burning fireflies, corrugated iron, and traditional Malaysian kites. This is what you will find at Malaysian restaurant Wau, situated on the Zeedijk in the heart of Amsterdam. Since its opening in 1995, Wau has earned itself a reputation for its satays: lamb, chicken, beef, squid, and goat; you name, Wau has made satay of it all. All of our meat is halal. Of course, all satays are grilled on a charcoal grill. The Malaysian kitchen is characterised by its variety in tastes and dishes. Spicy, fragrant, rich in flavour, with fresh spices, curry and coconut cream. Some ingredients, like the curry, are flown in especially from Malaysia.
